At The Crafty Barrel Company, we take great pride in the quality of our reclaimed oak barrels, garden planters, and ice baths. However, we understand that issues may occasionally arise. This policy explains your rights and our procedures for returns, refunds, and exchanges.

Returns Eligibility

We accept returns under the following conditions:

  • The item must be returned within 14 days of delivery
  • The product must be unused, in original condition, and safely packaged
  • Return requests must be initiated via email to: hello@oakandbarrel.co.uk

Please note: Due to the nature of reclaimed materials, slight variations in wood grain, colour, or finish are considered part of the product’s rustic character and not classed as defects.

Non-Returnable Items

We cannot accept returns on:

  • Customised or made-to-order products
  • Products used for water or pond purposes
  • Any item that has been used, altered, or damaged after delivery

Damaged or Faulty Items

If your order arrives damaged or faulty, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with:

  • Your order number
  • A clear description of the issue
  • Photos of the damage (including packaging, if relevant)

We will arrange a replacement or refund based on the circumstances.

Refunds

Once your returned item is received and inspected:

  • We will notify you via email
  • If approved, your refund will be issued to the original payment method within 5–10 business days

Shipping fees are non-refundable, unless the return is due to a mistake on our part (e.g. incorrect or damaged item).

Return Shipping

  • Customers are responsible for the cost of return shipping
  • We recommend using a tracked service and keeping proof of postage
  • For bulky or palletised items, please contact us for collection arrangements and costs

Cancellations

If you need to cancel an order, please contact us within 24 hours of placing it. Once dispatched, cancellations will be treated as returns.
